• Disconnect either of the ribbon cables connecting the Main Board (green board) to the LCD Panel. If the TV stays on with LED Backlights ON then the LCD Panel (screen) is DEFECTIVE and you will need to replace the TV. If there are 2 ribbon cables, disconnect one at a time.
